Second day: July 4th in Indiana!
Today a nice drive along the Ohio river scenic drive. The cloudy weather and light occasional rain in the morning contributed to make the green of the corn fields and the soy fields even more beautiful.
I really enjoyed the drive outside of the highway even when the rain got heavier in the afternoon. Tonight we had a light dinner with fruit and hard boiled eggs after the delicious cheeseburger at Rogers in Madison that we had today at lunch.

Great! So you are almost to the St. Louis Arch! I saw it back in 1995 and though it was much smaller than I imagined and I think I was surprised by the graffiti on the bottom of it. Hope you are getting good photos! And one day i will beat Momma Francis to the website!!

Oh, storms over fields. Hope you managed to grab a good photo. Oo…and lightning…ok, getting ahead of things.

@Ken: My mom (momma_francis) must be sitting in front of the computer waiting for any updates so it might be hard to beat her
Just to give you an idea, today we saw a Best Buy from the highway on our way to St.Louis and we decided to get out the next exit and we drove back to it… well, few minutes later we got an email from her where she was asking how come we were going backwards!
@Magdeline: no thunders, in fact there were no thunders at all, but the sky looked awesome, very dark and intense. I can’t wait to go back and edit some of those images. I really got the best out of it, in my opinion.
