Day 7: the Million Dollar Highway
Day 7 is entirely dedicated to one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the US, the so-called “Million Dollar Highway”, a breathtaking journey through the mountains of Colorado part of the San Juan Skyway Scenic Byway. Ideally we would be reaching Silverton for lunch and grab a bite at the Brown Bear Cafe. After lunch, we will continue along the road down to Durango and, from there the last stretch to Farmington, NM at an altitude of about 5000 ft.
